Getting Started with your Merchandise

June Bugs Reruns holds a Consignment Event in the Northwest Arkansas area multiple times a year. The Events are broken down into two seasons, Spring/ Summer and Fall/ Winter. When cleaning out your closets and sorting through your clothes and shoes, keep in mind that only seasonally appropriate attire will be accepted during each Event. At all Events we accept toys, strollers, high chairs, bedding, books, videos, baby equipment, nursing and feeding items, children’s furniture, outdoor toys, children’s electronics, bikes, children’s accessories, and children’s bedroom accessories as well as up to 15 maternity items. Each consignor is allowed 150 items per $9 consignor fee. We welcome girls’ sizes from newborn through size 16. We accept boys’ sizes newborn through size 20. All items consigned with June Bugs Reruns must be in EXCELLENT condition. If you have any questions regarding an item, please feel free to contact us at help@JuneBugsReruns.com

Just a few items we will not accept at the Event: stuffed animals that do not talk or move, toys with missing pieces or broken parts, any clothing that is over 3 years old or out of season or that have stains, tears or missing buttons, tattered undergarments, or furniture that is not directly related to children.

At drop-off we will inspect all of your items. Please understand the guidelines we have set for the sale will be upheld and we reserve the right to turn away any items that do not meet our high quality standards.

Items Needed for Tagging: White Card Stock Paper, Plastic Clothes Hangers, Safety Pins, Plastic Baggies, and Tape (Masking Tape and Clear Packing Tape).

Step 1:

Sign up to be a consignor.

Step 2:

Clean out your closets and play areas.

Step 3:

Launder and iron your clothing items.

Wipe down any toys or furniture, and inspect all items to ensure all parts are together and in working order. Batteries must be in toys to ensure they work.

Check for any items that have been recalled at www. cpsc.gov

Step 4:

Place your clothing items on plastic hangers, please do not use wire! The minimum price for an item is $3; you may group pieces together to reach this minimum.

Your item is correctly put on the hanger when you hold the hanger up and the top looks like a question mark.

Pants sold individually should be placed on hangers with safety pins, NOT clothes pins. Attach pants in a 2 piece set, with safety pins on the back side of the shirt. The safety pin should go through the hanger, to ensure it does not fall off and shoppers can view the pant as well as the shirt. DO NOT fold the pant underneath your garment where shoppers cannot see it.

Step 5:

Sort your items by type, gender, then by size. This will make placing your items on our sales floor quicker and easier for you at drop off!

Step 6:

Enter your items online using our easy online entry system. The cut-off time to enter your items is 11:59pm on the day before drop off.

Hint: keep your items in order so attaching tags is simplified.

  • One of the best things about consigning with June Bugs Reruns is you get to price your own items! Shoppers are looking for bargains so we recommend you price your items at 70% off the new retail value. If you are selling baby equipment or high end items, you should price those items at 50-60% off the new retail value. We will have a large amount of baby clothes, 0-6 months, so please price those items competitively.
  • We have a $3 minimum price for each item sold in the sale. Remember, you can always group clothing together to meet the $3 minimum. Items may be priced in .50 cent increments. We will not accept clothing items above $50.
  • You will also have the option to choose which items you sell at a discount on Friday and Saturday of our event, Friday is advertised as 25% off and Saturday as Half Price Day! Remember earning 75% or 50% of your asking price, as opposed to taking your item home, will mean just that much more money in your pocket! We highly recommend this option!

Step 7:

Print out your tags on white cardstock paper and attach the correct tags to your items.

Clothing item tags should be placed on the top right side of each garment using safety pins, please do not use tape on clothes.

  • For most non-clothing items, simply taping your tag onto your item, in a visible spot, using clear plastic packing tape is acceptable.
  • For items with multiple parts, please write your consignor number on a small piece of masking tape and place on each item inside a plastic bag, this ensures that if something gets separated, we can identify it.
  • Shoes: Place your consignor number on each shoe with masking tape. You have 2 options.
Option1: When tagging shoes: place your shoes in a plastic baggie. Make sure each shoe has your consignor number on it and the price written on masking tape. Attach your tag on the outside of the bag.
Option 2: Zip-tie your shoes together and attach a tag by punching a hole in the tag and stringing it through the zip- tie before you close it. Please place masking tape on the bottom of each shoe with your consignor number and price on each shoe.

Step 8:

Bring your items to the sale during the drop off time. Bringing your items in size/gender order will make placing them on the sales floor quick and easy for you!

Step 9:

Shop the sale and tell all of your friends, family and co-workers about June Bugs Reruns!

Step 10:

After the sale is over, remember to pick up any unsold items. At this time you will receive your check for 70%-80% of your total sales minus the $9 consignor fee. Any items not picked up during this time will be donated.
